How did you arrive at Pogofandango? What path brought you here?
My wonderful mum decided that we needed to buy a laser cutter!
What’s your day-to-day role at Pogofandango?
2nd in command! I am responsible for most of the design work, I run a laser cutter and deal with the boring stuff like banking and ordering.
What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?
Probably my design skills, and losing my keys, diary, glasses, purse…
What are you most passionate about professionally? What most excites you about your work?
I love the design side of things- it is really satisfying turning my doodles into products that people actually want to buy.
What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What can’t you stop talking about?
Sleeping, drinking coffee, collecting awesome albums on vinyl. I have 2 small people that rely on me to keep them alive- they provide me with lots to talk about.
Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
When not working I am usually on a beach with my family and our two dogs (who are both named after serial killers) or in a cafe drinking coffee and eating cake.
Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?
I grew up in Kent and came to Falmouth to do my degree in Textile design. I fell in love with the place and met a lovely local boy (who is now my husband) and decided I couldn’t possibly go back.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Coffee. Work. Living in Cornwall.
Why would someone not want to work with you?
I can sometimes be just a tiny bit messy and disorganised… only a tiny bit though…
